Our Admission Process

Step I

Register for a School Tour

  • Take a LIVE and guided virtual tour with us to learn about our school, our curriculum and our people.


  • January 25, 12:00-1:00pm

  • February 8, 12:00-1:00pm

  • March 1, 12:00-1:00pm

Step II

Apply for Entry and Schedule an Assessment

Complete an application form (FORM HERE) and submit electronically to or by mail/in person at the Main Office, 29 Mott Street, NYC 10013. You may also complete this after your tour.

Students will be invited for an assessment date where we meet your child to learn more about them. We will contact you to schedule the assessment once we receive your application. For older children, we may ask you to complete a virtual assessment to help us understand their proficiency. This process is about creating a nurturing space for meeting the needs of the child and making sure Transfiguration is the best educational home for them. A $50 assessment fee (non-refundable) per student payable to Transfiguration School

Step III

Register and Submit Documentation

Once you have received official notification of acceptance, you must complete the necessary forms for registration. You must also submit copies of the following records and required payment within two weeks of the date on your acceptance letter or your placement into the school will be forfeited. You may submit these forms in person or email scanned copies to

1) Birth Certificate

2) Health Examination Form

3) Enrollment Agreement

4) Optional: Baptism Certificate if Catholic

  • Transfiguration School uses SMART TUITION to collect its payments. Instructions on how to make your payments electronically will be issued at registration.
