Testimonials
"As parents of both the elementary and middle school campuses, we've been incredibly grateful for the nurturing, structured and engaging environment our children have experienced. The teachers have shown deep commitment to their academic growth and emotional well- being. The communication between school and home has always been clear and supportive. My children have not only gained strong foundation skills in reading, math, and science, they've also developed confidence, curiosity, and genuine love for learning. The integration of faith into daily learning also has shaped our children's character and world view. We are deeply grateful for the supportive, disciplined and faith filled environment that prepares them not only for academic success but also life rooted in the Catholic values. We couldn't be happier with the support and opportunities they've received. -Anne and Brian U.
"My family thanks God for our experience at Transfiguration. We are witnessing our kindergartener thrive in school and friendships. We are fortunate to have Ms. Karen, Ms. Rodriguez and Ms. Wendy! The kindergarten teachers do an incredible job protecting, supporting and building the children! I truly value Ms. Karen’s communication where she updates me on my son’s progress and suggestions on strengthening his skills at home. She is kind, trustworthy and truly cares about every student. She is that teacher kids cry about at graduation because of her impact.
The characteristics lived by the staff immediately position us proud parents to give volunteer more and contribute to the healthy community fostered at this school. I wish this for every family to experience. THANK YOU all to the generous teachers and beloved families! My family is clearly locked in with Transfiguration”

“As we were new to New York, we faced the challenge of navigating the Pre-K application process late in the game. Our priority was finding a blue ribbon, private, Catholic school with a strong academic reputation, which led us to Transfiguration.
Initially, we enrolled our eldest in their Summer Camp program while hoping for a spot at a school closer to our Upper West Side home for the incoming semester. That summer proved to be a turning point. Our son thrived, achieving milestones like playing chess (now he is able to carry on a game with his grandfather), writing his name, and recognizing letters, sounds, and numbers – a truly impressive leap in his learning in just a few short weeks. This significant growth, combined with the welcoming community we experienced, made our decision clear: we chose Transfiguration over closer options. While the commute from the UWS takes twice as long for drop-off and pick-up, the joy our son finds at Transfiguration and his remarkable progress make it undeniably worth it.
The strong sense of community and the wonderful families we've met are unparalleled. We are thrilled that both our sons will be educated at Transfiguration for years to come.” -Chelsea S.
“I could not be more grateful for the incredible education my child is receiving at Transfiguration School. In addition to an academically rigorous environment, the teachers and staff do an outstanding job instilling core values like kindness, empathy, and mutual respect in the student body. It’s rare to find a place that balances excellence in learning with such a high level of compassion and understanding. My child loves going to school every day. We feel truly lucky to be part of the Transfiguration community and recommend the school without reservations to any prospective families.” -Raquel G.
"Transfiguration school is absolutely wonderful! It provides my child with such a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment, complete with fantastic learning tools and incredible support. And the teachers are truly the best! I'm happy that my 4-year-old is part of this amazing school." - Gary N.
"My kids all have a great time learning at the school. I love the teachers at the school, their peers and the fellow parents. The learning environment is well-structured, the teachers are very competent and passionate about their teachings, and the students are eager learners since their parents are very involved in their education and want them to be achievers. Most of the teachers are beyond amazing. I admire that they really take pride in their teaching and know the students well. When I met their teachers, I could tell that they know my kids well. They are so patient with their shortcomings. My kids qualified for G &T programs but we chose to put them in Transfiguration because I have heard so many good things about the school. I am so glad that I put them there. Not only they are thriving academically but also they are learning to be kind and emphatic!"
