Transfiguration Schools

The Transfiguration Kindergarten and Elementary Schools operate under the Roman Catholic Parish of Transfiguration Church. Combined, the schools (which are located in separate premises) enjoy an excellent reputation in providing quality pre-school and elementary education in a family-centered supportive environment.

The Transfiguration Education Association (T.E.A.) is an advisory board whose members are business, education and community professionals interested in providing support and service for education in the New York Chinatown community.

The Dinner, sponsored by the T.E.A. helps to provide important funding to further enhance the programs offered to our students and brings together the unique network of the school community, neighborhood and supporters. In recent years, attendance has been over 800 strong. Proceeds from past dinners have helped to enrich the education curriculum and materials, provided scholarships, and improved the schools? physical environment.
