Before acceptance: the application process -
- Complete and return application form in order to be placed on waiting list
- Attend Open House on February 2, 2010, February 3, 2010 or February 4, 2010
- Assessment on Applicant's School Readiness (all applicants must be fully toilet trained)
- Interview with parent(s)
Siblings of current students, parishioners of Transfiguration Church and reside primary in Confucius Plaza will be given priority acceptance. Applicants must be three years old by December 31 in order to register for the next school year. All new students are requested to attend the 5 week summer session. They must be completely toilet trained to be considered for registration.
After acceptance: the registration process -
- Complete registration packet
- New students begin schooling in the summer
The Transfiguration Kindergarten School prepares children for Transfiguration Elementary School and all students are carefully assessed and monitored by our team of educators. Siblings of students will be given priority as shall families of our parish. Children must be three years old by December 31 in order to register for the next school year. They must be completely toilet trained to be considered for registration.

Fees
September 2009 - June 2010
Assessment application fee for new student: $50.00
Registration fee: $100.00
Materials, Activity and Book fee: $350.00
Home School Association fee: $50.00
Kindergarten Graduation fee: $100.00
Annual
Tuition: $6200.00
Lunch fee: To be determined by NYC Board of Education, Department of Nutrition.
Late Payment fee: $30.00 is in effect after the 7th of each month.
Returned checks fee: $30.00
Late pick up fee: after 2 excuses, $5.00 for
every 5 minutes after 6:00p.m.
