Dr. Timothy McNiff, Superintendent of Schools introduced His Eminence, Edward Cardinal Egan, who received the Fr. Felix Varela Award at the 16th Annual Transfiguration Education Association Dinner on Friday, May 4th, 2012.

2011 Blue Ribbon School
On Nov. 14, the Department of Education in Washington, D.C. honored Transfiguration School of New York City as a 2011 Blue Ribbon School for its academic excellence and high performing students. A two-day event, Transfiguration was alongside 49 private and 256 public schools recognized nationally this year.
